ORDER :

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Higher Education appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner before this Court, who is working as a Lecturer in Government Degree College, Pattikonda, Kurnool District, has filed O.A.No.4036 of 2014 seeking an order of regularisation of his services. The said O.A. was disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that thereafter on 23.09.2019, the petitioner has submitted an application, which is pending till date. It is his contention that the petitioner fulfilled all the conditions for his regularisation. Learned counsel for the petitioner draws the attention of this Court to another document dated 30.08.2019, by which the 2^nd respondent sought details of similarly placed Lecturers, who also sought regularisation. He, therefore, prays that the representation of the petitioner should be disposed of, in accordance with law and the judgment in O.A.No.4036 of 2014.

Learned Government Pleader does not really object to this part of submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and states that the representation will be disposed of on its own merits and as per the applicable Rules and Regulations.

In view of the submissions made by both the learned counsel, this Court is of the opinion that there is no need to keep the writ petition pending.

The 2^nd respondent is directed to dispose of the representation dated 23.09.2019 submitted by the petitioner, strictly on its own merits, as per the applicable Rules and Regulations and in accordance with law, within a period four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed in consequence.
