WRIT PETITION No.15691 OF 2020
ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief:
“…declaring the action of respondents in disqualifying the petitioner as Director by the order of Respondents in the month of November, 2018 and consequently in deactivating the Director Identification Number (DIN) of the Petitioner (DIN No.05304699) and listing the name of the petitioner as a disqualified Director and restricting the Petitioner from filing statutory returns i.e., Annual Returns and Financial Statements for the Companies in which she is a Director and from being appointed as a Director in other companies as arbitrary, illegal and contrary to the principles of natural justice and contrary of the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and Rule 11 of the Companies Appointment of Directors Rules, 2014, and also violation of Art.14 and 19 of the constitution and consequently by setting aside, Order activation of Director Identification Nos.DIN No.05304699 of Petitioner and allow the petitioner to commence new company and to pass such other order…”
When the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Sri N.Harinath, learned Assistant Solicitor General of India appearing for the respondents, submit that in similar facts and circumstances, the High Court of Judicature for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra

Pradesh disposed of a batch of Writ Petitions in W.P.No.17409 of 2018 and batch.
In view of the same and following the order dated 11.10.2018 passed in W.P.No.17409 of 2018 and batch, this Writ Petition is also disposed of, directing the respondents to restore the Director’s Identification Number of the petitioner, if the companies in which she is disqualified are registered within the State of Andhra Pradesh, so as to enable her to submit annual returns and financial statements of the active companies in which she is a Director. It is also made clear that this order holds good only for active companies. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
