The petitioners in all the Writ Petitions are fair price shop dealers of various shops mentioned in the above table and running their shops, distributing the essential commodities to the card holders without any complaint, since, the date of their appointment. The Deputy Tahsildar (CS), Ravikamatham Mandal, Narsipatnam Division, inspected the shops of the petitioners mentioned and found certain variations, seized essential commodities on account of variation under the cover of mediators report, initiated proceedings before the Joint Collector under Section 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act, and they are pending before the Joint Collector.

The petitioners though raised several contentions in the Writ Petitions, it is unnecessary to dwell open those contentions since this Court already granted interim order directing the respondent to continue the authorization of the petitioners, while directing the respondent No.3 to dispose of the proceedings under Section 6-A of Essential Commodities Act, as expeditiously as possible, in any event not later than one month from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

In view of the above, respondent No.3 shall continue the authorization of these petitioners till passing of orders with a direction to dispose of the pending proceedings under Section 6-A of Essential Commodities Act within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending, if any,

shall stand dismissed.
