ORDER :

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution

of India seeking the following relief:

“to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents 4 and 5 in pressurizing the petitioner to settle the civil and criminal disputes with the Respondents 6 to 8 as arbitrary, illegal, unwarranted and violation of Article 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequentially direct the Respondents 4 and 5 not to harass the petitioner and not to interfere with the peaceful possession of the petitioner’s land”

During hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home placed on record written instructions dated 19.02.2018 informing that the respondents – police authorities are not interfering with the civil and criminal disputes and not insisting the petitioner to settle the disputes pending between her and respondent Nos.6 to 8.

In view of the written instructions placed on record by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, there is nothing to be adjudicated in this matter. However, respondent Nos.4 and 5 are directed not interfere with the civil disputes pending between the petitioner and respondent Nos.6 to 8 except when a crime is registered against the petitioner.

With the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

¶9

The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
