This writ petition is filed for the following relief:

‘……to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the case of the petitioner for the post of Anganwadi Worker at K.O.Mallavaram, Anganwadi centre-II, N.Suravaram Sector, Tuni Rural Project at East Godavari District, without considering the Memo No.5771/K3/2006, dated 05.01.2012 as illegal and arbitrary’.

The case of the petitioner is that, she was selected as Anganwadi Helper at K.O.Mallavaram, IV Anganwadi Centre, Code No.168-(18) on 24.08.2012; a vacancy arose to the post of Anganwadi Helper in the same village i.e., K.O.Mallavaram-II Anganwadi Centre due to the retirement of an Anganwadi worker; as per memo No.5771/K3/2006, dated 05.01.2012 issued by the State Government, petitioner is eligible for the said post; hence, she made a representation to R2 and R3 on 01.10.2019 to consider her candidature to the said post; in similar circumstances, basing on the above memo, this Court allowed W.P.No.31374 of 2015 and batch vide Order, dated 16.11.2015 for promotion to the post of Anganwadi Worker from the category of Anganwadi Helper, but the respondents did not consider her case to the said post. Hence, the writ petition.

Learned Government Pleader for Women Development and Child Welfare Department, appearing for the respondents submits that as per Memo No.5771/K3/2006, dated 05.01.2012, where certain instructions were issued by the

Director, Women Development and Child Welfare Department stating that another Anganwadi Helper by name Golagana Lovathalli is suitable for promotion as Anganwadi Worker, accordingly, based on performance, it was recommended and approved by the Anganwadi Selection Committee on 17.11.2019 vide memo No.110/A4/2018, dated 21.11.2019.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner made a representation on 30.09.2019 which was received by R2 on 01.10.2019 and the second respondent may be directed to consider and dispose of the representation.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the 2^nd respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 30.09.2019 of the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
