ORDER:

This writ petition is filed ‘to declare the action of the respondents in not providing compassionate appointment to the petitioner, as his father died on 15.09.2006 in harness and basing on judgment and decree dated 12.02.2019 passed in OS No.163 of 2012 on the file of the Principal Senior Civil Judge, Addanki, as illegal and arbitrary’.

Case of the petitioner is that, his father, who was working as attender in Government Junior College, Martur died on 15.09.2006; on 02.01.2007, he made an application for appointment on compassionate basis; the 2^nd respondent vide proceedings dated 14.02.2007 directed the petitioner to produce certain documents and the said order was communicated by the 5^th respondent; the 4^th respondent vide letter dated 04.12.2006 directed the petitioner to obtain legal heir certificate as one G Venkataratnam also filed representation dated 20.09.2010, seeking compassionate appointment; thereafter, petitioner and his mother filed OS No.163 of 2012 on the file of the Principal Senior Civil Judge, Addanki against the 5^th respondent, and one Bathula Ruthamma and the said suit was decreed on 12.02.2019 declaring the petitioner and his mother as legal heirs; thereafter, the petitioner made an application on 08.07.2019 seeking employment on compassionate grounds by enclosing relevant documents, but the same is not yet disposed of. Hence, the writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents 2 and 5 may be directed to dispose of the representation of by the petitioner dated 08.07.2019, as early as possible.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents 2 and 5 are directed to dispose of the representation dated 08.07.2019 of the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law after giving notice and opportunity to rival claimants in suits and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
