ORDER:

This writ petition is filed to declare the proceedings dated 13.06.2019 of the 3^rd respondent, as illegal and arbitrary.

Case of the petitioner is that, he was appointed as Junior Assistant on 15.05.1999 and discharging his duties as such at Sub Registrar’s office, Chilamathur; while so, on the preliminary report of the District Registrar, Hindupur stating that on 07.08.2014 as many as 20 documents were registered by the petitioner without verifying the adangal, pahani, ROR and 1-B register on the web land, a departmental enquiry was initiated by the 3^rd respondent against the petitioner on 12.01.2016 by appointing an Enquiry Officer; petitioner submitted his explanation to the charges framed against him; after enquiry, the Enquiry Officer submitted his report holding that the charges are proved; basing on the enquiry report, the 3^rd respondent terminated the petitioner from service on 13.06.2019 without issuing any show cause notice regarding imposing of punishment; as against the said dismissal order, petitioner filed an appeal before the 2^nd respondent and the said appeal is not yet disposed of. Hence, the writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the 2^nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, as early as possible.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the 2^nd respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, preferably

within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
