Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners have solemnized their marriage on 29.10.2025 according to Hindu rites and rituals at the Shankar Ji Temple, Bajaria, Railway Station, District Mahoba.

Per contra, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel submits that no marriage certificate has been appended by the petitioners. Further, as per instructions, Gram Pradhan of the petitioners' village has denied that any marriage between the petitioners has been solemnized in the village.
