Heard Sri Hemendra Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos.1 to 3.

It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that on the complaint of the petitioner, special audit enquiry was conducted under Section 40 of the U.P. State Universities Act, 1973 against the respondent nos.4 and 5, pursuant to which an order dated 30.9.2025 was passed by the State Government, where the Committee of Management of Kanohar Lal Postgraduate Girls College, Meerut was found guilty under Subsections (iv) and (v) of Section 57 of the Act of 1973 and proceedings under Section 58(1) of the Act of 1973 was directed to be initiated against the respondent no.4. It is contended that pursuant to the aforesaid order, show cause notices have been issued to the respondent nos.4 and 5 but till date neither any reply has been submitted by the aforesaid respondents nor the State Government has proceeded under the provisions of Section 58(1) of the Act of 1973.

Learned Standing Counsel prays for and is granted two weeks' time to seek instructions in the matter.
