This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, wherein the writ petitioner has sought for the following substantial reliefs:-

"I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party numbers 2 and 3 to issue the Provisional Certificate of Registration to petitioner number 2 as per provisions of Section 14 and 15 of the Clinical Establishment (Registration and Regulations) Act, 2010;

II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties not to interfere or create any hindrance in peaceful functioning of the petitioners Hospitals" .

Sri Sharma, learned counsel for the State has submitted that the process for providing the Provisional Certificate of Registration is in progress and has relied on instructions dated 17.04.2026. The said instructions are taken on record.

Upon perusal of the instruction, we are of the view that the authorities concerned should expedite the said process in view of Section 16 of the Clinical Establishment (Registration and Regulations) Act, 2010 and take a decision for issuance of the Provisional Certificate of Registration to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, unless there is specific impediment in law.
