Heard Shri Devkant Trigunait, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

At the outset, learned Standing Counsel has raised a preliminary objection regarding maintainability of the present writ petition. He has submitted that against the order by way of which the renewal of society has been rejected, there lies an appeal under Section 12-D(2) before the Commissioner of the division in whose jurisdiction the Headquarter of the Society lies.

Confronted with the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to avail alternative remedy.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with the aforesaid liberty.
