Dr. Rajeshwar Tripathi, learned advocate, Chief Standing Counsel appears on behalf of State and submits, petitioner's complaint was acted upon. On inquiry, illegal mining activity was detected. Steps are being taken. He hands up his instructions dated 4th May, 2026 with copy to Mr. Brijesh Kumar Mishra, learned advocate appearing for petitioner.

Paragraph 1 from our earlier order dated 7th April, 2026 is reproduced below.

"1. Mr. Brijesh Kumar Mishra, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, prayer is to direct respondent nos. 2 and 3 to make spot inspection of illegal mining operation and cancel lease granted to respondent no. 4. On query he submits, photographs have been annexed to show mining operation conducted after dark."

Petitioner now has information that his complaint is being acted upon. He has further information of steps taken. He can therefore be vigilant.
