Allahabad High Court (Prakash Padia, J.) disposed of a writ petition by Smt. Reena Singh, who had been selected to the post of Anganwadi Karyakatri vide order dated 11.03.2025 but whose domicile certificate was cancelled. Her earlier writ petition (Writ C No.20322 of 2025, Neutral Citation No.2025:AHC:122500-DB) was disposed of by a Division Bench of the same Court vide judgment and order dated 25.07.2025, pursuant to which the Additional District Magistrate, Finance & Revenue, Sant Kabir Nagar wrote a letter dated 23.12.2025 to respondent no.4 (Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Khalilabad, District Sant Kabir Nagar), yet no decision was taken despite lapse of considerable time. The learned Standing Counsel stated that respondent no.4 would take a decision expeditiously. It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that petitioner was duly selected on the post of Anganwadi Karyakatri vide order dated 11.03.2025 but the domicile certificate of the petitioner was cancelled. Aggrieved against the aforesaid a petition being Writ C No.20322 of 2025 (Neutral Citation No.2025:AHC:122500-DB) was filed by the petitioner, which was disposed of by Division Bench of this Court vide judgement and order dated 25.07.2025. Pursuant to the aforesaid a letter dated 23.12.2025 was written by the Additional District Magistrate, Finance & Revenue, Sant Kabir Nagar to the respondent no.4-Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Khalilabad, District Sant Kabir Nagar. It is further argued that though a considerable time has already lapsed but till date no decision has been taken by the respondent no.4 on account of which petitioner is suffering irreparable loss.

On the other hand it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that respondent no.4 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the records.
