This Court has passed following order on 10.04.2026 :-

"1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner,
learned Standing Counsel, and perused the record.

¶12

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that she
has illegally been offered appointment on a Class
IV post on compassionate ground, whereas she is
educated and claims entitlement to a higher post.
The record reveals that the husband of the
petitioner was working as a Class IV employee at
Shri Snatakottar Mahavidyalaya, Maltari,
Azamgarh. He died on 11.04.2025 during his
service period. The present petitioner, who is
the wife of the deceased employee, has been
accorded compassionate appointment on a Class IV
post.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has prayes
for and is granted two weeks' time to address the
Court as to how the petitioner is entitled to a
higher post than the post on which her husband
was serving.

4. List this matter on 28.04.2026 as fresh. "

Learned counsel for petitioner is not able to show any legal provision that petitioner has a right to claim appointment on compassionate basis on higher post to which her husband was working.

In view of above, this Court does not find any reason to interfere with impugned order whereby petitioner is offered compassionate appointment on Class-IV post.

Accordingly, writ petition has no force, hence, dismissed .
