Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State, Sri Shashi Prakash Singh, learned counsel for respondent nos. 2 & 3 and perused the record.

The petitioner has preferred instant writ petition for a direction upon the respondent authorities to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner for grant of one additional increment of Rs. 670/- while fixing the pay of the petitioner along with the promotional pay scale/grade pay of Rs. 5400/- in accordance with Clause 11 of the Government Order dated 08.12.2008 issued for determination of revised pay structure pursuant to the recommendations of the 6th Pay Commission, with effect from 04.03.2009, i.e., the date from which the promotional pay scale of Rs. 7500-12000 corresponding to Pay Band Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- has been granted to the petitioner vide order/Adesh Sankhya/Prabandh/ 155866/2025-26 dated 24.06.2025 and also to grant one additional increment from 04.03.2019 on completion of 10 years of satisfactory service in the Grade of Rs. 5400/- and to revise the pension and other post retiral benefits accordingly and to pay the arrears of salary, retiral benefits and pension with interest, within such stipulated period as may be specified by this Hon'ble Court, in light of the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 28.11.2025 and 11.12.2025. Said grievance is pending consideration before respondent no. 2, therefore, direction may be issued to decide the same within stipulated period.

Learned counsel for the respondents have no objection to the aforesaid prayer.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case set up on behalf of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of by providing that the petitioner may make fresh application/representation, ventilating all his grievances, supported by such documents, as may be advised, before the respondent no.2 - District Basic Education Officer, Mau, within three weeks from today along with a certified copy of this order. On such representation being made, respondent no.2 shall make all endeavours to consider and decide the same, strictly in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned and speaking order, after giving proper opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
