Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner prays for the following relief:-

"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties to release the pension as well as Gratuity amount in favour of the petitioner and also pay the salary during the suspension period i.e. 25.10.2016 to 24.3.2017 and 22.12.2019 to 31.10.2020 and the arrears of pension with effect from 1.11.2020 to 17.3.2024, in the interest of justice.

(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 9.3.2026 contained in Annexure No.1 to this writ petition by a speaking and reasoned order within a period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court, in the interest of justice.

(iii) Issue any other writ, order or direction in the nature which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice"

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if the petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh representation raising his grievances before respondent no. 4, with a direction to decide the same within a stipulated period.

Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to the innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid, the petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh representation before respondent no. 4 within a period of one week from today. In case such a representation is submitted, the same
