Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State counsel for opposite parties.

The present petition has been filed seeking the following main relief:-

"I. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the opposite parties to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer from Commissionerate, Varanasi to District- Kaushmbi or District- Fatehpur or Prayagraj Range (Parikshetra); in pursuance of the circular dated 22.06.2017, issued by the Inspector General of Police (Establishment), Uttar Pradesh Lucknow, Head Quarter, Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh Lucknow, (Contained as Annexure No.2).

II. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the opposite parties to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 14.01.2026 (contained as Annexure No.3) to this writ petition within stipulated period of time as prescribed by this Hon'ble Court, in terms of the circular dated 22.06.2017, issued by the Inspector General of Police (Establishment), Uttar Pradesh Lucknow, Head Quarter, Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh Lucknow; in the interest of law and justice.."
