On instructions, learned counsel for respondent nos.2 to 5 submits that the order with regard to release of the salary of the petitioner on the post of Junior Engineer has been passed. However, the same could not be implemented as the service book of the petitioner is not complete and the same has been sent to Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PVVNL) for completion in the year 2025.

It is to be seen that the service book is in the custody of the employer and it is for the employer to get the service book completed from the previous employer if the employee was transferred.

In view of the aforesaid, assurance is given by learned counsel for respondent no.2 that the service book of the petitioner would get completed by sending a special messenger to the PVVNL. The Managing Director of PVVNL as well as concerned Officer of PVVNL shall co-operate in the completion of service book of the petitioner.

A copy of this order shall be sent by the Managing Director, Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (DVVNL) to the Managing Director, PVVNL for necessary compliance. If the
