Heard Sri Vinod Shankar Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos.1 to 3 and Sri S. B. Singh, learned counsel for the respondent no.6.

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent nos.2 and 3 to get the illegal encroachment removed, made by respondent nos.4 and 5 over plot nos.1 and 6 recorded as Khai under column 6(1) in the relevant revenue records relating to Village Karauli, Tahsil Sadar, District Bareilly.

Perusal of Khatauni relating to aforesaid plots, filed as Annexure-1 to the writ petition, shows that over land belonging to Gaon Sabha recorded as Khai various orders passed by the revenue authorities have been mentioned in it. The orders recorded in the Khatauni does not show in which proceedings the said orders were passed.

In view of the aforesaid, learned Standing Counsel is granted three weeks' time to obtain instructions in the matter.

List as fresh on 27.04.2026.
