Heard Sri Rakesh Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Chandra Shekhar Saran, learned AGA appearing for the State respondents.

The present application has been moved seeking anticipatory bail in Case Crime No. 527 of 2025, under Sections 8/20/29/60 NDPS Act, Police Station Bhamaura, District Bareilly with the prayer that in the event of arrest, applicant may be released on bail.

It is contended by the learned counsel for the applicant that the name of the applicant has surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused Alam@Akram who is said to be the driver of the truck and 153.696 kg dried ganja is said to have been recovered from the said truck. It is submitted that the applicant is the owner of the said truck and he has been falsely implicated in the present case only on the basis of his being owner of the truck.

Learned AGA prays for some time to obtain updated instructions regarding whether the applicant was having constant touch with the arrested co-accused.

In view of the above, list this case on 19.2.2026 as fresh so as to enable the learned AGA to obtain updated and detail instructions.
