This application has been filed with the following prayer:-

"To quash the charge-sheet dated 11.05.2025 u/s 191(2), 191(3), 190, 326(g), 352, 351(2), 109(1), 308(5), 3(5) of B.N.S., Section 7 of C.L.A. Act and Sections 3, 4, 5 of Explosive Substance Act including subsequent proceedings thereof."

Learned A.G.A., while placing relevant case diary before this Court, submits that F.I.R. No. 164 of 2015 was lodged on 11.04.2025 u/s 191(2), 191(3), 190, 109, 308(4), 326(g), 352, 351(2) of B.N.S. and Section 7 of C.L.A. Act with the allegation that the accused persons were realizing money from the shopkeepers illegally and on denial, the grenade was thrown by the accused persons, and in the F.I.R., 14 persons are named.

It is further submitted by learned A.G.A. that the charge-sheet has already been filed against few of the accused/named persons and the investigation is going on against some of the accused persons, and some of the accused persons have preferred writ petition, in which, their arrest has been stayed.

On the next date, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Chinhat, Lucknow alongwith Investigating Officer of the case in question shall appear in person before this Court and shall explain the reason for delay in conclusion of the investigation of the crime in question and shall place relevant material available against the applicants.

Registry is directed to show the name of Sri Mrinal Rai, Advocate as the counsel for the private respondent in the cause list.
