Allahabad High Court (Tej Pratap Tiwari, J.), January 20, 2026 — Application U/S 528 BNSS No. 1731 of 2026, Dilip Singh and 5 Others v. State of U.P. and Another. Applicants sought quashing of proceedings in Criminal Case No. 630/IX of 2022 (State vs. Dilip Singh and others), arising out of Case Crime No. 100 of 2022, under Sections 498-A, 323, 504 I.P.C. and Section 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Mathura, on the ground that the parties have entered into a compromise (copy annexed as annexure no. 4). Heard Sri Ashish Kumar Gupta, learned counsel for the applicants, Sri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2, learned AGA for the State of U.P. and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the applicant argued that the parties have entered into compromise, copy of which is annexed as annexure no. 4 at page no. 75 of the instant application. It is argued that as such the present proceedings be quashed.

Looking to the facts of the case, it is provided that the applicant shall file the said compromise within a period of three weeks from today before the court concerned who shall verify the same within three weeks thereafter and send his report to this Court.

List after eight weeks.
