Heard learned counsel for the applicants, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

The present application under Section 528 B.N.S.S. has been preferred to allow the present application and to quash the entire proceeding of Complaint No. 2130 of 2018 (Sangeeta Vs. Meva Ram and others) under Section 323 IPC, Police Station-Munderwa, District-Basti as well as impugned summoning order dated 20.12.2024 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate/FTC (CAW), District-Basti.

Learned counsel for the applicants states that the applicants consent to refer the matter to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court Allahabad, for amicable settlement of the dispute.

Accordingly, the matter is referred to Mediation & Conciliation Centre of this Court. The applicants are directed to deposit a sum of Rs. 5,000/- by way of demand draft/pay order in the name of Allahabad High Court, Mediation and Conciliation Centre (AHCMCC) within a period of 15 days from today which shall be retained by the Mediation and Conciliation Centre.

The matter is referred to the Mediation Centre with the direction that same may be tried to be resolved after giving notices to the opposite party. The Mediation Centre will submit its report in the matter within three months.

List this case on 15.04.2026 in the daily cause list before the appropriate Bench alongwith the report of Mediation Centre.
