Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondents-State, and Ms Vijayalaxmi Singh, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.3.

Instant petition has been filed praying for quashing of the first information report No.288 of 2025 under Sections 76, 115(2), 127(2) B.N.S., Police Station Raunahi, Ayodhya. Further prayer is for a mandamus commanding the respondent no.3 not to arrest the petitioner in pursuance to the aforesaid FIR.

Upon filing of the petition, it was contended that there is every likelihood of the parties settling the dispute in case the matter is referred to Mediation Center of this Court, upon which notice was issued to respondent no.3 by this Court to ascertain her willingness. After ascertaining the willingness of respondent no.3 to participate in the mediation proceedings, this Court vide order dated 11.09.2025 had required the parties concerned to appear before the Mediation Center of this Court.

In pursuance to the order of this Court dated 11.09.2025 the Mediation Center of this Court has submitted its report dated 12.12.2025.

As per paragraph 6 F of the said report, the petitioners and respondent no.3 have agreed to end the dispute between themselves amicably which pertains to the impugned FIR.

Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is allowed . The first information report No.288 of 2025 under Sections 76, 115(2), 127(2) B.N.S., Police Station Raunahi, Ayodhya, is quashed.
