Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No. 11827 of 2025 (High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench; Hon'ble Abdul Moin, J. and Hon'ble Mrs. Babita Rani, J.; decided March 16, 2026): The petitioners sought quashing of FIR no.0648 of 025 dated 29.07.2025 under Sections 316(2) and 318(4) B.N.S., lodged at Police Station Kotwali Sadar, District Unnao, together with a mandamus restraining any process against them in pursuance of the FIR. During the pendency of the petition, the petitioner and respondent no.4 entered into a compromise (deed filed as ASA-1 to the supplementary affidavit). By order dated 04.02.2026 the Court directed that the compromise deed be placed before the learned Senior Registrar for verification; the Senior Registrar, by report dated 11.02.2026, verified the compromise, under which the parties agreed to end their dispute amicably. Considering the verified compromise, the Court allowed the writ petition and quashed the proceedings of the said FIR.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned A.G.A. appearing for the respondents No.1 to 3 and Shri Awadhesh Kumar Tiwari, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 4.

The instant petition has been filed praying for quashing of the F.I.R. dated 29.07.2025 bearing F.I.R. No.0648 of 2025, under Sections 316(2), 318(4) B.N.S, Police Station Kotwali Sadar, District Unnao, a copy of which is Annexure-1 to the petition.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned counsel for the respondent No. 4 states that subsequent to the aforesaid F.I.R., the parties have settled the dispute amicably amongst themselves by means of a compromise dated 05.12.2025, a copy of which is Annexure-4 to the petition.

To verify the contents and parties of the compromise deed, let the parties concerned appear before the Senior Registrar of this Court on 13.01.2026.

The Senior Registrar of this Court shall make an endeavour to submit his report within a week.

List this case before this Court on 20.01.2026 along with the report of the Senior Registrar, showing the name of Shri Awadhesh Kumar Tiwari as learend counsel for respondent no. 4.
