Instant Criminal Appeal has been preferred under Section 14 A of SC/ST (PA) Act against the judgment and order dated 30.4.2025 passed by learned Special judge SC/ST Act / learned Additional Sessions Judge, Balrampur in Special Sessions Trial No.14/2016 whereby appellants have been convicted for charge under section 147, 148, 323, 324, 504 IPC and Section 3 (1) (x) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and sentenced to a maximum of 3 years' rigorous imprisonment along with fine under sections 324 IPC and 3 (1) (x) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act,1989. All the sentences were directed to run concurrently.

Heard learned counsel for the appellants, learned A.G.A. for the State and learned counsel for respondent no.2 and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the appellants submitted that the appellants were released on interim bail by the learned trial court under section 389 (3) CrPC and appeal was filed before this Court well within limitation, therefore, the appellant has not misused the liberty of interim bail.

Learned counsel for respondent no.2 sought time to file objection on bail application.
