(Writ C No.12319 of 2025, order dated 20.05.2025), which in turn was relied upon in Rahul Arora (Writ-C No.16448 of 2025). Sri Bipin Bihari Pandey, learned Chief Standing Counsel, submitted that the Nagar Nigam and the Varanasi Development Authority were not parties to the writ petition; the applicant relied on the interim order dated 11.05.2026 in Writ-C No.18902 of 2026 directing status quo, the Nagar Nigam notice being under challenge there. Holding that no case for contempt was made out since the notice was under challenge before the writ Court, the Court dismissed the contempt application at this stage and directed the applicant to pursue the remedy before the writ Court.
