Learned Standing Counsel on the basis of instructions received has submitted that in pursuance of the complaint of the applicant, an enquiry has been conducted and a punishment order dated 05.02.2026 has been passed against the erring Kotedar, the copy of which has been provided during the course of argument, which is taken on record and the photocopy of the same has been provided to learned counsel for the applicant today itself.

Learned counsel for the applicant has very fairly submitted that the judgment and order passed by the writ Court has been complied with and for all practical purposes, the present contempt application has become infructuous and the same may be dismissed as infructuous.

In view of above, the present contempt application is dismissed as infructuous.
