By means of the instant petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has sought issuance of a direction to the State Public Service Tribunal to decide Claim Petition No.1592 of 2022 expeditiously.

The aforesaid claim petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the validity of the order of his dismissal from service which has been affirmed in appeal. The claim petition is at the stage of final hearing since 16.06.2023. The petitioner is out of service since 04.10.2021.

In these circumstances, it would be expedient in the interest of justice that the petitioner's claim petition be decided expeditiously.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed off by issuing a direction to State Public Service Tribunal to decide Claim Petition No.1592 of 2022 expeditiously, in accordance with law, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties and by fixing dates at short intervals.
