Heard the counsel for the petitioner and Sri Manu Dixit, the counsel for the respondent bank.

The present petition has been filed by the petitioner, challenging the award dated 18.04.2023 passed by the arbitrator.

During the course of the arguments, the counsel for the parties agree that the matter can be amicably settled in between the parties.

It is agreed that the amount of Rs.8,00,000/- (eight lacs) if paid by the petitioner within a period of one week, the seized truck shall be released to him forthwith and the balance amount of approximately Rs.27,50,000/(Twenty Seven Lacs Fifty Thousand) due and payable by the petitioner over and above the amount of Rs.8,00,000/- shall be paid by the petitioner within a period of six months.

In the event of payment of the entire amount, as directed above, the bank shall issue a discharge certificate in respect of the loan in question.

The writ petition stands disposed off in terms of the settlement arrived at and recorded above.
