Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Notice on behalf of respondent nos. 1 to 4 has been accepted by the office of the learned Chief Standing Counsel.

Sri Rahul Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel has raised a preliminary objection indicating that the instant petition has been preferred by the petitioner seeking mandamus for the respondents to re-evaluate /re-check the answer sheets of all the subject of the petitioner who appeared in the Intermediate Examination of the year 2025.

It is urged that in terms of the Regulation 21 under Chapter 12 of the General Regulations Regarding Examinations, there is a clear provision whereby the petitioner can see its remedy by getting the scrutiny done. He has provided a copy of the written instructions dated 08.05.2025 for perusal of the Court which is taken on record wherein it has already been advertised that any person who wishes to get the answer sheets scrutinized can comply with the necessary formalities and avail the said facilities and for the said reasons without availing the said remedy, the instant petition seeking mandamus cannot be entertained.

The learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the aforesaid fact and submits that he may be granted leave to get the marks scrutinized in terms of the aforesaid Regulation and submits that he will avail the aforesaid remedy as provided in terms of the aforesaid regulation.

In view of the statement so made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of leaving it open for him to take recourse to the remedy available in terms of Regulation as mentioned above.
