Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

The present writ petition has been filed with following prayer:

"(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.2 to pay the insured amount of truck no. HR 38 S 7080 in favour of petitioner.

(ii) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.2 to consider and decide the application filed by the petitioner dated 18.02.2023, pending before him within specific period of time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."

After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioner wants to withdraw this petition with liberty to pursue such other remedy available under law.

The writ petition is accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
