Mr. Parvez Alam, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client executed the work. Drawing attention to work order dated 26th December, 2022 he submits, the work was valued at Rs. 6.5 lacs (rounded off). Part payment in excess of Rs. 2.6 lacs was made as evidenced from disclosure at page 21. His client completed the work and informed same to respondent no. 3. There be direction for payment of balance amount of Rs. 3,87,449/-.

Mr. Mohan Srivastava, learned advocate Standing Counsel appears on behalf of State. Mr. Rahul Jain, learned advocate appears on behalf of respondent nos. 3 and 4 (the Nagar Palika Parishad). He prays for adjournment to obtain instructions, particularly on whether the work has been completed.

We are inclined to deal with the writ petition. Respondent no. 3 is directed to ascertain on petitioner's assertion of having had completed the work. In event it is found so, the office will verify petitioner's outstanding bills, for payment. Petitioner will communicate certified copy of this order along with documents evidencing completion and copies of outstanding bills, to said respondent. Within three weeks of the communication, decision taken be made known to petitioner. If it is for payment, it be made expeditiously thereafter.
