Heard Shri Jaysingh Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Shri Ashwani Kumar Tripathi, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that both the petitioners are major and they have solemnized their marriage/Nikah on 31.10.2025 and they have apprehension of life threat from the respondent no.4.

Per contra, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel states that date of registration of birth certificate of the petitioner no.2 is 21.07.2025 and he also pointed out some infirmity in the Nikahnama dated 31.10.2025.

Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel prays for and is granted two weeks time to obtain instructions.

Put up this case as fresh on 09.12.2025.

Till the next date of listing, respondent no.2-Superintendent of Police, District Meerut is directed to ensure that no harassment is caused to the petitioners at the behest of the respondent no.4 and his family members.
