This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:-

"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.-2 to ensure the amaldaramad of the order dated 17/11/2012 passed in Case No. 22 of 2012-13 (Kumbhan Das Mundra and Another Vs. State), under Section 143 of The Uttar Pradesh Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1953 in the extract of Khatauni pertaining to the Khasra Nos.-338M and 347M recorded over the respective Khata Nos.-227 and 333 in the revenue records pertaining to the Village-Jatipura, Tehsil and DistrictMathura to the extent of their respective areas 0.307 hectares each forthwith."

It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that declaration under Section 143 of U.P. Zamindari Abolition & Land Reforms Act, 1950 was made way back on 17.11.2012 but the said order has not been complied with by the revenue authorities and necessary revenue entries has not been made. Ventilating their grievance, the petitioners had moved an application on 22.8.2023, which is pending consideration before respondent No.2. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same.

As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent No.2 to decide the application dated 22.08.2023, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of.
