Learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Addl. Chief Standing Counsel are present.

The petitioners have preferred this writ petition for a direction upon the respondents not to interfere in their married life and also for protection of their lives and liberty.

The petitioners claim that they are adults and have performed marriage and living together out of their own freewill. It is stated that for the said reason, the private respondent and his other family members have got annoyed and there is serious danger to the lives of the petitioners as they are being threatened and harassed. In support of their age, the petitioner no.1 has brought on record her certificate-cum-marksheet of High School Examination, 2020 wherein the date of birth of the petitioner no. 1 is shown as 15.12.2004 and petitioner no. 2 has brought on record his aadhar card wherein his date of birth is shown as 1.1.2003. It is submitted that their marriage took place in the Arya Samaj, Prayagraj on 8.9.2025.

However, on the other side, learned Addl. Chief Standing Counsel has got instruction in this matter and submitted that there is no threat or danger to life to the petitioners for their marriage, as all the family members of petitioner no.1 have given a written submission to the Station Officer, P.S. Gaudha, Aligarh that they have no objection to the marriage of the petitioners and they have not lodged any F.I.R. / missing report at any police station against the petitioners. Both the petitioners are major and they are not creating any type of hindrance in their peaceful marital life.

Since the petitioners have no threat to their lives, I find no cogent reason to pass any order for protection of the petitioners.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
