" 1. Issue writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing respondent authorities, particularly CBSE Regional Officer, Prayagraj, to correct the date of birth of the petitioner as 04.03.2007 on the place of 20.03.2007 in his High School Mark-sheet cum Certificate in light of Hon'ble Supreme Court's Judgement (Jigya Yadav vs. CBSE & Ors. (2021) 7 SCC 535).

Issue writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing respondent authorities, particularly CBSE Regional Officer, Prayagraj to decide the petitioner's application dated 26.04.2025 (forwarded by school on 30.04.2025 and supplemented on 29.07.2025) within a within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submitted that he has already moved an application dated 26.04.2025 before respondent no.3 Regional Officer, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Regional Office, Prayagraj but the same is still pending and no order has been passed yet. He prayed that respondent no.3 may be directed to decide the aforesaid pending application and pass appropriate and reasoned order expeditiously in accordance with law after taking into consideration the relevant documents pertaining to the prayer made in the application.

Per contra, Sri Rajesh Tiripathi, learned counsel appearing in advance accepted notice on behalf of respondent no. 2 and 3 has no objection to the innocuous prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

Tiripathi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 2 and 3 and perused the contents made in the writ petition.

5.Taking into consideration the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and no objection from other side, I am inclined to allow the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

Respondent no.3 Regional Officer, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Regional Office, Prayagraj is directed to decide the application of the petitioner dated 26.04.2025 appended as Annexure No.3 with the paper book, pending before him in accordance with law after taking into consideration the relevant documents pertaining to the correction of age of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

7.With the aforesaid observations/directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
