The only prayer made in the present petition to direct the respondent No.2/ to pass appropriate orders on the application submitted by the petitioner dated 12.08.2024 filed by the petitioner in terms of provisions contained under Rule 6 A of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Maintenance of Family Register Rules, 1970, expeditiously.

It is argued that on the aforesaid representation/application a letter dated 23.01.2025 was written by the Block Development Officer, Salempur, Deoria/respondent no. 3 to the respondent no. 2/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Salempur, Deoria by which a report has been submitted by the respondent no. 3. It is further argued that considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter.

On the other hand, it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that respondent No.2 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously.
