The application submitted by the petitioner for the grant of firearm license was not decided by the respondent no. 2/District Magistrate, Prayagraj, hence the petitioner has preferred the present petition.

Today when the matter is taken up learned Standing Counsel placed before this Court instructions dated 04.09.2025 received from the Licensing Authority (Arms) on behalf of District Magistrate, Prayagraj, the same is taken on record, copy of the same also provided to the counsel for the petitioner.

It is stated in the aforesaid instructions that the application submitted by the petitioner was allowed on 02.09.2025.

After going through the aforesaid, a prayer has been made by the counsel for the petitioner that the relief sought has already been granted to the petitioner, therefore, no further orders are required to be passed.
