Mr. Ram Sumer Chaudhary, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client had applied for character certificate. He followed up with representation dated 12th August, 2025 made to respondent no.2 (the Superintendent of Police). He submits, there be direction upon said respondent to issue the certificate.

Mr. Raj Mohan Upadhyay, learned advocate, Additional Chief Standing Counsel appears on behalf of State. On query he submits, to his knowledge view taken by the Lucknow Bench in order dated 28th May, 2025 in, inter alia, Writ C no.- 718 of 2025 (Anil Kumar and others Vs. State of U.P. and others) , has not been interfered with.

Respondent no.2 is directed to deal with petitioner's application for character certificate in terms of Anil Kumar (supra). Petitioner will communicate certified copy of this order along with copy of his representation dated 12th August, 2025 to said respondent. There be action taken within three weeks from the communication.
