The writ petition was moved on 25th August, 2025. Order made that day is reproduced below.

"1. Mr. Udit Chandra, learned advocate appears on behalf of respondent nos.2 to 4 (the supply company). He submits, team went to energize the connection. There was resistance by or on behalf of petitioner. Mr. Anand Prakash Srivastava, learned advocate appearing on behalf of petitioner disputes the submission.

2. The competent person, who led the team to energize petitioner's premises will file affidavit giving details, which will be accepted on adjourned date upon advance copy served. Petitioner will remain present in Court to answer on the affidavit, if filed. If not, said respondents (the supply company) will be saddled with cost.

3. List on 12th September, 2025 as fresh marked at 2 P.M."

Mr. Nitesh Patel, learned advocate holding the brief appears on behalf of respondent nos. 2 and 3 (the supply company) and files affidavit dated 17th August, 2025. Paragraphs 3 and 4 from the affidavit are reproduced below.

"3. That after the filing of the present petition, the answering deponent along with his team Mr Muuna Lal who is Line Man, Dilip Maurya & Rakesh gupta who are Line staff went to the house of the petitioner on

01.08.2025, so that the premises can be energised, however, the wife of the petitioner stopped them from reenergising the premises for the reasons, best known to them.

4. That the deponent is still ready to energise the premises if the petitioner corporates and with respect to the permanent disconnection, the same will be done once the litigation reaches to its conclusion."

Mr. Anand Prakash Srivastava, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioners and Mr. Gireesh Chandra Tiwari, learned advocate, Standing Counsel, for State.

The supply company will forthwith give electric connection to petitioner. Personnel entrusted to energise will produce website copy of this order on their visit. They will obtain acknowledgement on their copy, recording either successful energisation or resistance.
