Mr. Rupendra Kumar Mishra, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client's mother died on 8th July, 1995. At that time his client did not obtain death certificate. Prayer is, direction for its issuance.

On query he submits, his client may not have informed concerned authority of the death, to obtain death certificate as provided under the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969. He relies on order dated 16th May, 2019 of coordinate Bench in Writ-C no. 16907 of 2019 (Ram Sharan vs. State of U.P. and 3 others) and submits, it covers his client's prayer. Direction from said order is reproduced below.

"Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file a representation before the respondent No.4/concerned authority to issue a death certificate. If such a representation is filed ventilating all his grievances within 10 days from today, the same shall be decided by the said authority in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within 30 days from the date of receipt of the said representation."

Mr. Gireesh Chandra Tiwari, learned advocate, Standing Counsel appears on behalf of State submits, petitioner can apply to respondent no. 2 (the Sub Divisional Magistrate).

Petitioner will make application giving full particulars and submits it to respondent no.2. He may enclose certified copy of this order in his application. Said
