Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondent-State respondents.

The petitioner by means of the present petition has assailed the order dated 20.01.2024 passed by respondent no.2/Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil-Sadar, Mirzapur whereby he has cancelled Domicile Certificate of the petitioner.

A preliminary objection has been raised by learned counsel for respondents that against the impugned order, there is a statutory remedy of appeal under Section 6 of U.P. Janhit Guarantee Adhiniyam. The petitioner has approached this Court after about one year.

The aforesaid fact is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Since, there is statutory remedy of filing appeal under Section 6 of U.P. Janhit Guarantee Adhiniyam, therefore, present petition is not maintainable before this Court.
