Heard Sri Sagar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Badrish Kumar Tripathi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Staterespondents No. 1, 2 & 3.

By means of the present petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following relief:

"Wherefore, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties to decide the application for scrutiny of Intermediate Examination-2024 dated 24.04.2024 as contained in Annexure No. 2 to this writ petition."

The submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner having not been satisfied with the marks granted to her in the Chemistry Paper moved an application dated 24.04.2024 before the Secretary, Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh seeking scrutiny of her marks of the Chemistry Paper in respect of the Intermediate Examination2024.

Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State-respondents, on the basis of instructions dated 10.11.2025 provided to him by the Additional Secretary, Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Regional Office, Varanasi, submits that the scrutiny was done by the

concerned authorities and they found no infirmity in the evaluation of the marks and as such the same has been disposed of without making any change in the marks already granted to her. The copy of the said instructions is taken on record.

The copy of the letter dated 03.08.2024, whereby the petitioner was informed about the said decision, has been provided to the learned counsel for the petitioner today.

In view of what has been stated here-in-above, this Court finds that no useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is consigned to record.

It is needless to say that it is open for the petitioner to avail legal remedy, if any, in case she is not satisfied with the said decision communicated to her vide Letter dated 03.08.2024.
