Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned State Counsel for opposite party no.1 and Mr. Saurabh Shankar Srivastava, learned counsel for opposite party no.2 whose power filed today is taken on record.

In view of order being passed, notice to opposite party no.3 stands dispensed with.

Petition has been filed seeking a direction to concerned authority to examine and verify the forms and certificates submitted by petitioner for purposes of appointment on the post of Forester in pursuance of final result dated 10.10.2024.

Learned counsel for opposite party no.2 on the basis of instructions submits that after examination of documents submitted by petitioner, a clarification has been sought from the University Grants Commission (UGC) with regard to degree awarded to petitioner from the Singhania University but since an appropriate reply was not forthcoming from the University Grants Commission (UGC), further information has been sought from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which is still awaited and final decision shall be taken shortly.

In view of aforesaid, the opposite party no.2 i.e. Secretary, U.P. Sub-ordinate Services Selection Commission, Lucknow is directed to take a decision with regard to petitioner's grievance expeditiously, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority.

With aforesaid directions, petition stands disposed of.
