1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite party Nos. 1 to 4.
2. In view of the order being passed, issuance of notice to opposite party No. 5 stands dispensed with.
3. The petition has been filed challenging the selection dated 15.04.2025 of opposite party No. 5 to the post of Anganwadi Worker by the concerned authority.
4. Learned State Counsel has placed on record written instructions dated 14.08.2025, which are taken on record, and as per the same, the petitioner's candidature was not considered as she was overage in terms of the Government Order dated 21.03.2023, which prescribes the maximum age limit of 35 years.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the fact, as also indicated in the memorandum of petition, that the petitioner was 38 years of age at the relevant time and was therefore clearly overage.
6. In view of the aforesaid, this Court does not find any occasion to grant indulgence. The petition accordingly fails and is dismissed . Parties shall bear their own costs.
