Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

By means of this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for the following relief :-

"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari thereby quashing the impugned Government Order dated 08.11.2024 issued by opposite party no.1 vide letter No. 45/2024/1089/78-1-2024-1099/33/2024 thereby denying the benefits of absorption rules of 2011 to the petitioners on whimsical grounds and in most arbitrary manner."

Attention has been drawn towards Annexure 9A of the writ petition, which is an interim order dated 08.04.2025 passed by this Court in Writ A No.3782 of 2025 (Anant Kumar Pandey and 3 others vs. State of U.P. and anor). It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that identical issues have been decided by this Court and the case is covered with the judgment passed in the aforesaid writ petition therefore, the benefit of the same order may be extended to the present petitioners.

Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, list and connect this writ petition with Writ A No.3782 of 2025 (Anant Kumar Pandey and 3 others vs. State of U.P. and anor).

In the meantime, counter affidavit may be filed by the respondents.

Till the next date of listing, the operation, implementation and enforcement of the impugned Government Order dated 08.11.2024 (Annexre 1) shall remain stayed only for the present petitioners. Order Date :- 24.6.2025
