Petitioner, who had participated in selection for the post of Assistant Teacher (Hindi) in Sanskrit Madhyamik Vidhyalaya, sought mandamus for declaration of the result of the interview held on 17.11.2021 and for decision of his representation dated 06.03.2025 by respondent no.2. With no objection from learned Standing Counsel and counsel for the respondent-University, the writ petition was disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before respondent no.2, Chancellor, Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi, who is to consider and decide it expeditiously. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Avneesh Tripathi, learned counsel for the respondent-University and learned Standing Counsel for the State.

The present writ petition is filed with the following prayer:

"I. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to declare the result of interview held on 17.11.2021 regarding the appointment of Assistant Teacher (Hindi) in Sanskrit Madhyamik Vidhyalaya Maurawan, District Unnao.

II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the representation of petitioner dated 06.03.2025 by passing a detailed, speaking and reasoned order in accordance with law."

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has participated in the selection proceedings for the post of Assistant Teacher (Hindi) in Sanskrit Madhyamik Vidhyalaya. He submits that ends of justice would be served if the petitioner is permitted to prefer a representation before the respondent no.2 for redressal of his grievances and the same may be directed to be considered.

Learned Standing Counsel and learned counsel for the respondent-University have no objection to the same.

In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before the respondent no.2Chancellor, Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi. In the event, such a representation is filed by the petitioner before respondent no.2, the respondent no.2 shall consider and decide the same expeditiously.

It is clarified that this Court has not decided the issue on merits and the authorities concerned shall independently apply its mind and pass order in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
