This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners aggrieved of order dated 31.05.2024, whereby the Tribunal, after hearing the parties, has granted interim order and admitted the Original Application ('OA').

The writ petition has been filed on 16.02.2025. When counsel for the petitioners was put a query pertaining to the delay in filing of the writ petition, submissions have been made that after passing of the order dated 31.05.2024, an application seeking vacation of the interim order was filed and while the said application was pending, a contempt petition has been filed necessitating the filing of the present writ petition.

Submissions have also been made that the ground, on which the interim order was granted by the Tribunal, the issue now stands concluded by the Tribunal itself in OA No. 1242 of 2019, decided on 09.09.2024 and the subject matter of the present OA would stand squarely covered by the said judgement.

After having gone through the submissions made by counsel for the petitioners and the record of the case, wherein the pleadings before the Tribunal are complete and the plea now raised is that the

issue stands squarely covered by a decision given by the Tribunal on similar facts, it would be appropriate for the Tribunal to decide the OA with expedition.

Consequently, the petition filed by the petitioners is disposed of.

It is expected of the Tribunal to hear and decide the OA itself within a period of four weeks from the date a copy of this order is placed before the Tribunal.
