Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-State.

The present writ petition is filed with the following prayer :-

" I. to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature mandamus, direct the respondent authorities to release the salary/allowance of the suspension period i.e. 12.06.2005 to 15.09.2005 of the petitioner for the post of Sub-Inspector posted in Police Station - Saraimeer, District Azamgarh in the department of U.P. Police alongwith the interest, within stipulated period which may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

II. to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature mandamus, direct the respondent authorities to decide the representation dated 29.07.2024 submitted by the petitioner before him for releasing the allowance for the suspension period from 12.06.2005 to 15.09.2005 for the post of Sub-Inspector posted in Police Station - Saraimeer, District Azamgarh. "

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that representation of the petitioner is pending consideration before respondent no.2. The direction may be issued for expeditious disposal of the same.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-State submits that representation of the petitioner would be decided in a time bound manner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby directed that representation of the petitioner pending before respondent No.2 be decided expeditiously preferably within a

period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
